FUTSAL
- Separate competitions are held for female and male competitors.
- Each higher education institution can enroll one team at most.
- There are four players and a goalkeeper in the field and there can be up to fourteen players registered for a match (including the goalkeepers).
- Teams are drawn into groups. The competition normally has a two-stage tournament format (a group stage followed by a knockout stage). The games consist of two fifteen minute halves (running clock), except for the finals and the third place play-off that consist of two twenty minute halves (running clock).
- If there are fewer than six teams, the competition has a round-robin format and all the games consist of two twenty minute halves (running clock).
BASKETBALL
- Separate competitions are held for female and male competitors.
- Each higher education institution can enroll one team at most.
- There are five players in the field and there can be up to twelve players registered for a match.
- Teams are drawn into groups. The competition normally has a two-stage tournament format, except if there are fewer than six teams, in case of which it has a round-robin tournament format.
- Men's matches consist of four eight minute quarters (running clock) except for the finals and the third place play-off which consist of four ten minute quarters (running clock).
- Ladies' matches consist of four six minute quarters (running clock).
HANDBALL
- Separate competitions are held for female and male competitors.
- Each higher education institution can enroll one team at most.
- There are six players and a goalkeeper in the field and there can be up to sixteen players (including the goalkeepers) registered for a match.
- Teams are drawn into groups. The competition normally has a two-stage tournament format (a group stage followed by a knockout stage). The games consist of two fifteen minute halves, after the group stage the games consists of two twenty minute halves.
- If there are fewer than six teams, the competition has a round-robin format and all the games consist of two fifteen minute halves.
VOLLEYBALL
- Separate competitions are held for female and male competitors.
- Each higher education institution can enroll one team at most.
- There are six players in the field and there can be up to fourteen players (including none, one or two libero players) registered for a match.
- Teams are drawn into groups. The competition normally has a two-stage tournament format (a group stage followed by a knockout stage).
- If there are fewer than six teams, the competition has a round-robin format.
- Matches are played best-of-three.
- The first two sets are played to 25 points, while the the third one is played up to 15 points.
- Sets must be won by a two-point margin.
BEACH VOLLEYBALL
- Separate competitions are held for female and male competitors.
- Each higher education institution can enroll one team at most.
- There are two players in the field and there can be up to four players registered for the game.
- The competition has a knockout format.
- Matches are played best-of-three.
- The first two sets are played to 21 points while the third one is played to 15 points.
- Sets must be won by a two-point margin.
- One substitution per set is allowed to each team.
INDOOR ROWING
- Separate competitions are held for female and male competitors.
- Each higher education institution can enroll up to two male and two female teams. Only the score of the higher ranked team of an institution is taken into account.
- Teams are drawn into groups.
- A team consists of four students attending the same higher education institution.
- The men's competition is organized as a 4 x 1000 m relay.
- Every male contestant rows 1000 meters on the ergometer.
- The ladies' competition is organized as a 4 x 500 m relay.
- Every female contestant rows 500 meters on the ergometer.
TABLE TENNIS
- Separate competitions are held for female and male competitors.
- Each higher education institution can enroll one team at most.
- Teams are drawn into groups.
- Four players apply for the competition and three of them apply for each round
- A round is played best-of-five matches
- Rounds between teams A and B are played as followed:
- A1 - B2
- A2 - B1
- A3 - B3
- A1 - B1
- A2 - B2
- A match is played best-of-five sets
- Sets are played to 11 points and have to be won by a two-point margin
CROSS COUNTRY RUNNING
- Male and female competitors are ranked separately.
- Separate competitions may be held for male and female competitors depending on the number of people enrolled, but both men and ladies run the same course.
- Each higher education institution can enroll at most one female and one male team. A team consists of at least three and at most five individuals.
- Teams are ranked by their running time, which is the sum of the running times of the team's fastest three members.
CHESS
- Players can compete individually or as a part of a team
- A team consists of four players and two substitutes
- For the team competition, either Swiss or Berger system is used (depending on the number of entries). Eleven rounds are played.
- Time control is seven minutes with a three second increment.
- Match points are the main criterion used to decide the winner.
- Each higher education institution can enroll at most one student in the individual competition. Best five teams in the team competition can enroll up to two players.
- For the individual competition, either Swiss or Berger system is used (depending on the number of entries). Seven rounds are played.
- Time control for the individual competition is seven minutes with a three second increment as well.
- Every institution should bring two proper chess sets and two clocks complying with the rule book.
