Futsal
- The competition is organized separately for male and female competitors
- Every higher education institution can be represented by only one team
- It is played between two teams of five players on each side one of whom is a goalkeeper. A maximum number of 14 players (two of whom are goalkeepers) can be used for each match
- Depending on the number of entrants, teams will be drawn into groups where each team plays each other followed by a futsal elite cup draw system. A standard match consists of two equal periods of 15 minutes of “dirty” (unstopped) game except for the finals and the third-place match which consist of two equal periods of 20 minutes of “dirty” (unstopped) game
- If there are fewer than 6 teams, a league system where all matches last for two equal periods of 20 minutes of “dirty” (unstopped) game is introduced
Basketball
- The competition is organized separately for male and female competitors
- Every higher education institution can be represented by only one team
- It is played between two teams of five players. A maximum of 12 players can be used for each match
- Depending on the number of entrants, teams will be drawn into groups where each team plays each other followed by an elite cup draw system. If there are fewer than 6 teams, a league system is introduced
- A standard match for male players consists of four equal periods of 8 minutes of “dirty” (unstopped) game except for the finals and the third-place game which consist of four equal periods of 10 minutes of “dirty” (unstopped) game
- A standard match for female players consists of four equal periods of 6 minutes of “dirty” (unstopped) game
Handball
- The competition is organized separately for male and female competitors
- Every higher education institution can be represented by only one team
- It is played between two teams of six players on each side one of whom is a goalkeeper. A maximum number of 16 players (including goalkeepers) can be used for each match
- Depending on the number of entrants, teams will be drawn into groups where each team plays each other followed by an elite cup draw system. A standard match consists of two equal periods of 15 minutes except for the finals and the third-place game which consist of two equal periods of 20 minutes
- If there are fewer than 6 teams, a league system where all games last for two equal periods of 20 minutes is introduced
Volleyball
- The competition is organized separately for male and female competitors
- Every higher education institution can be represented by only one team
- It is played between two teams of six players. A maximum number of 14 players (with no, one or two libero players) can be used for each match
- Depending on the number of entrants, teams will be drawn into groups where each team plays each other followed by an elite cup draw system
- If there are fewer than 6 teams, a league system is introduced
- Matches are made up of sets whose number depend on a level of play. Three-set matches are played to 25 points and the third set to 15 points. Each set must be won by two points. The winner is the first team to win two sets.
Beach volleyball
- The competition is organized separately for male and female competitors
- Every higher education institution can be represented by only one team
- It is played between two teams of two players. A maximum number of 4 players can be used for each match
- The competition is organized as a cup system
- Matches are made up of sets whose number depend on a level of play. Two-set matches are played to 21 points and the third set to 15 points.
- Each set must be won by two points
- The winner is the first team to win two sets
- Each team can replace one player per set
Rowing - ergometer
- The competition is organized separately for male and female competitors
- Every higher education institution can be represented by two female and two male teams, of which only the one with the better placement will be scored
- Teams will be drawn into several groups
- A team is composed of four students studying at the same university
- Male students compete in a relay race of 4 x 1,000 meters
- Every male student rows for 1,000 meters
- Female students compete in a relay race of 4 x 500 meters
- Every female student rows for 500 meters
Table tennis
- The competition is organized separately for male and female competitors
- Every higher education institution can be represented by only one team
- Teams will be drawn into several groups
- Each team can be represented by four players and each round by three players
- The winner is the first team to win 3 matches
- The schedule for teams A and B is as follows
- A1 - B2
- A2 - B1
- A3 - B3
- A1 - B1
- A2 - B2
- A match lasts until a team wins three sets.
- Sets are played to 11 points. Each set must be won by two points.
Cross race
- Teams are ranked separately for male and female competitors
- The competition can be organized separately for male and female competitors depending on the number of competitors
- All competitors run the same length
- Each higher education institution can be represented by one male and female team of four to six competitors
- Teams are ranked based on the results of the best three team runners
- Teams are ranked by their running time
Chess
- The competition is organized jointly for male and female competitors
- Every higher education institution can be represented by only one team
- Teams will be drawn into two groups
- Top two teams from each group qualify for the final group transferring points from the game they play against each other
- Ultimate records of first four places are based on a round-robin tournament system
- Each team can be represented by four players and each round by three players
- Time limit is 10 minutes for each player
- In a round, a winning team wins two match points and a losing team 0 match points. In the case of a tie, each team wins 1 match point
- The criteria for announcing a winner are (in that specific order) match points followed by a “regular” points, round they play against each other and finally a team who used white pieces. If a winner still cannot be announced, team captains will agree on additional rounds
