Cultural stereotypes often influence a young woman’s path in life, limiting her field of interest and ultimately affecting her career path. Even those who succeed in the field, through their hard work and diligence, face countless challenges and adversities along the way. But it is precisely they who inspire us! Those extraordinary woman scientists and engineers with seemingly limitless creativity and drive, who are working hard to make the world a better place.

Countless amazing women have made groundbreaking progress in their respective fields, proving that there is no bridge that they cannot cross. Determination, perseverance, and a passion for your field of work are a driving force for success, and they are all traits that we value above all at the STEM Games. In the ever-changing scientific field, one of our key goals has always been to support and inspire the next generation of scientists, regardless of their gender.

The Games are a wonderful opportunity for young women to participate in a supportive environment, surrounded by like-minded people with just as much passion and drive, all working hard to achieve their full potential. Year after year, some amazing women apply to be organizers, mentors, athletes, or innovative problem-solvers who bring unique perspectives to the table.

On this day we celebrate women and girls who are crushing social stereotypes and making a change in the world every single day. Let’s use them as an inspiration – those brave, wonderful women with the world at their fingertips!

Happy International Day of Women and Girls in Science!
