Ready, STEM, CS:GO!

During the winter holidays you probably decided to spend some time playing video games and you gathered your old team, which you have competed with at STEM Games as part of an additional program, and played LoL or CS: GO for the "good old days". Or maybe you heard from your friends how awesome it was to play in a great atmosphere and feel like a grandmaster when getting a pentakill while the rest of the crowd falls to their knees in disbelief.

Along with these interesting stories, you are probably wondering if the organisation team has prepared some surprise this year. We have good news for you! Due to the large number of applications and the shown interest last year, at this year's Games, in addition to the Science, Technology, Mathematics and Engineering Arenas, a new official Arena will be introduced: the eSport Arena!

Like before, in this Arena, competitors will compete in teams, in various multiplayer video games (LoL, Hearthstone, PES, CS: GO) to claim the title of the best STEM Games gamers. However, the road to glory is not easy, as it is important to show exceptional skill, tactics, cooperation and communication with the team, as well as speed and focus at esports tournaments.

These skills are not easy to gain in a few days before the Games, so don't wait until the last minute and gather your esport team on time. Start preparing today because applications are just around the corner, so in order to not miss important dates and news and regret after, follow us on social media!
